Teen Wolf Season 3 Trailer

Arrow

After the Pack/Angel Investigations conference, Erica's decision leaves her drained by Glory. Scott finds her and takes her to safety.

Roadside, Beacon Hills

The fog from the moisture in the air hangs densely around the streets of Beacon Hills. It's a little chilly, the pavement still slightly damp from the earlier downpours. It isn't anything Erica notices, of course, it's all a matter of supreme indifference when you're unconscious because a goddess was jealous of your awesome hair and brain drained you. Her phone has gone off who knows how many times, the battery barely having any life left to it.. sort of like its owner, at the moment. She's been left leaned back slightly, sitting on the ground. Her jacket over her snug red shirt, her slim fitting jeans, her heeled boots.. they're all damp and patches of mud dot them here and there from where she'd been dropped to the ground and dragged. Her hair is slowly frizzing and going flat, from exposure to the moisture and all of that, much to what would be Erica's dismay.

There was a disturbance in the Pack. Somehow Scott McCall could feel when someone in his Pack was no longer fully integrated. It was a weird feeling and he didn't like it. The Dirtbike of Justice was far from here because Scott McCall was on foot. He ran, leaped, flipped and swung through the various natural elements to make sure that he got himself in the direction of Erica. His eyes narrow as he hops over the latest boulder sized obstruction and he seems to be giving chase to the unseen scent of the girl that won't answer her phone. He doesn't need to wolf out at this moment but he's pouring on the heroic speed to get himself to Erica as soon as possible. The look on his face is a combination of worry and drive. Nobody else falls.

Erica can't fall, she's already fallen. There's a slackness to her face, that's never been seen by Scott before, but that will tell she's not just asleep or knocked out. This goes deeper, it takes away even the feeble spark of pre-Bite Erica, much less the much fiercer light of the blonde beta Scott knows better. The sound of her phone going off one more time may help Scott pinpoint her. Her ringtone is Shakira's "She Wolf"..because of course it is. It's a song she could dance to for work, and there's just that inside joke of it to fuel that inner mischief that Erica loves. She's still not picking it up, though the ring is slightly muffled from being in her jacket pocket, it should be like a blazing trail for Scott.

Through a combination of scent and sound the True Alpha picks up speed. His denim jacket flaps haphazardly in the wind that he creates from moving so damn fast. He's up and over a down tree and rushing off int he direction of the ring tone that's getting louder and louder as he progresses. He skids to a halt, though, when he sees Erica's body from a direction that he wasn't prepared to see it from.

It's at that exact instant that Derek arrives, Lydia and Stiles in tow, all sharing the same look that Scott does. None approach, looking between the True Alpha and Erica, each showing a different flash of thoughts behind their eyes. Each sobered by the somber discovery.

"... No." It's a whisper as he tries to contain himself and then he's back on the move, dropping and sliding next to Erica's body with a worried hovering hand. "Erica? Erica, come on. Wake up. Don't be--" Scott can't even bring himself to begin to think or say it. And by it we mean anything that's worse than just being knocked out.

It might be a little bit of a relief for Scott to hear the beta's heart still beating, she's still breathing. She's just.. not asleep. She can maybe even hear him, deep in wherever her own mind Glory's drain left her.. but she can't respond. That ringtone finally stops, another missed call from another wolf... Brian. But hey, at least she's not dead, right? This can be fixed... can't it?

"No." Scott is freaking out on the inside but he's not about to let that show. He takes a second to let his senses reach out around him and then he's shoving those arms underneath Erica and rising to his feet in epic slow motion to make sure that he's got her. "Come on. Let's get you home."

Derek looks first to Stiles, then to Lydia, and then he takes a step, reaching out to rest a hand on Scott's shoulder. When he catches the other Alpha's eyes, he gives a good, solid nod and then turns to his companions, to withdraw back into the fog, back to his apartment, back to the plans and strategies they were drawing out to bring this to an end.

This must be finished, and soon. Too many have fallen already.

Scott starts his walk off in the direction of wherever he parked the Dirtbike of Justice. "Then I'll take care of this woman once and for all." Scott has had enough. He really has. See the red eyes?

Sadly, there is no snarky or sarcastic comeback from the blonde beta, like there would be if she was awake. Her head will rest against his shoulder, and he'll hear that heartbeat hitch for a moment. Maybe she knows, somewhere inside her head... Who has her. That she's safe. That someone will defend her, or avenge her. She'd approve of the red eyes, but Erica always had that aggressive, protector/defender streak.
