Wyatt returns home just after Thanksgiving and visits with his aunt for a while.

November 29, 2015
Halliwell Manor

Wyatt has, for the most part, avoided the manor except when in dire need. He doesn't want to catch too much notice from the Elders, after all, though they likely already know of his existence. Perhaps he's getting homesick, however, as he orbs into the livingroom when he senses no strangers are about.

Phoebe is currently sitting on the sofa, barefoot, legs tucked up under her. She sees the orbing, and then gives a bright smile. "Hey there!"

Wyatt smiles back just as brightly, "Hi, aunt Phoebe." He glances around for a second, glancing towards the exits into other rooms as if to be sure he's not interrupting anything, and asks, "Is it ok to visit?"

Phoebe nods. "It is! How was your Thanksgiving? Hopefully there was a big get-together at that place you're staying?"

Wyatt Halliwell smiles and says, "Yep. We had a dinner, Nessa's a good cook. Almost as good as mom. But it wasn't the same as being home." Then, though, he adds, "And I stopped a fight over a toy at a mall. Adults, I mean. This woman was chasing a man who'd bought the last of a stuffed animal. I mean, chasing so hard he was full running away from her. So I conjured another one and pretended I'd bought it for Melinda and gave it to her, so he could get away."

"That sounds great!" Phoebe smiles. "Piper made a great meal, we still have leftovers. Would you like some?"

Nodding with a grin, Wyatt says, "Yes please! If she wouldn't mind. I know she doesn't know me yet. Which is so weird. Like it was when you saw me and didn't recognize me." Perhaps that's another reason he hasn't been home much.

Phoebe stands, and she starts kitchenwards. "We're going to have to figure how to do a proper Christmas too." She walks out that way, starting to raid the fridge. "Anything you don't eat?"

The mention of a proper Christmas brings a huge smile to Wyatt's face. "That would be awesome." He follows Phoebe out to the kitchen, and says, "I really don't like liver, but that isn't a Thanksgiving meat anyway. I like everything else mom has ever cooked."

Phoebe will start doing her best to make up a nice plate; all the reheatables first, which get popped into the microwave. "So. What do you want for Christmas?" she smiles.

Sitting down at the kitchen table, Wyatt says, "Other than being home? 'Cause that would be awesome by itself. But, um, I'd still like a camera. Or something to play video games on. Everybody at school keeps talking about games I've never heard of. All the games I know won't be out for like 10 years."

Phoebe grins a little. "Don't you think that will be terribly retro?" She takes the plate out of the microwave, and adds the cold bits, the cranberry sauce and all. "Here you go. Milk?"

Wyatt Halliwell grins, "The whole world is. I mean, the computers at school don't even have mics, you can't do anything by voice. I'm getting used to it. I always kind of was. In my time, I used aunt Prue's old camera, and it was older than me." Then he smiles happily, accepting the meal, "Yes please!" He digs in eagerly, excited to taste familiar cooking once again.

Phoebe pours the glass. "Dig in. I'll be right back." She heads out of the room. She's gone about three minutes, and comes back. "Haven't seen you since the mall..." She sets down a wrapped package, done in birthday wrapping paper.

In the time that Phoebe is gone, Wyatt finishes up most of his plate. He finishes up a last couple forkfuls quickly, then wipes his face with a napkin as Phoebe puts the package down. "Oh, wow, thank you!" He starts to open it, excitedly.

It's a camera, sure enough. Phoebe doesn't make enough to get REALLY high end stuff, but it's still worth a couple hundred. "I hope it's right. I saved the receipts...just in case." She doesn't really understand photography gear.

Wyatt Halliwell examines the box, for just a moment, but as Phoebe questions of its right he hops to his feet and hugs her. "It's awesome! Thank you!"

She gives a tight hug back. "I'm glad. And hopefully this catches me up for missed birthdays." She grins a little. "And now I get to start learning about video games for Christmas."

Wyatt Halliwell smiles up to Phoebe as he steps back again, "Yep, this catches you up perfectly. Thank you," he says again, smiling happily.
